On Thursday, December 09, 2021, William Middleton, transitioned from labor to reward at Edisto Post Acute, Orangeburg, South Carolina. William was born in Nassau County, New York, on February 13, 1973, to Edward and Valda Middleton. William graduated from Uniondale High School and attended Nassau Community College. At an early age on a Good Friday, William was baptized and became a member of Greater Second Baptist Church, Freeport, New York. He served as an usher and sang in the youth choir. William worked at MDI Magazine Distribution Incorporated, where he worked for eighteen (18) years before moving to South Carolina. While in Columbia, South Carolina, William worked for Palmetto Hospital for a few years before he became ill and unable to work. William enjoyed watching his Jets play football and Knicks play basketball. He loved playing his video games with his friends and nephews, Wiliam was known for his natural fighting spirit. No matter what life threw at him he also found a way to work through it. God has given us all a Cross to bear and William took up his Cross and pressed his way to the end. He has truly earned his Crown.
William's favorite scripture was Luke: 11:1.
"One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him," Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
William was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie Middleton and Fitz Belgrave, grandmothers, Delphine Belgrave and Rebecca Middleton, mother, Valda E. Middleton, nephews, Mathews Richard Tann and Jeremiah Henry Tann.
William leaves behind to cherish his memory: Father, Edward {Annie}Middleton, Sr., Eutawville, South Carolina, three (3) brothers, Edward R. Middleton, Jr., Long Island, NewYork, Jeffery L. Middleton, Brooklyn, New York, and Frederick C. Middleton, Bremerton, WA., his sister, Victoria D. (Kelvis, Sr) Middleton(Tann), Sanford, North Carolina. Uncles, Michael Belgrave, Brooklyn, New York, Lucius Small, Brooklyn, New York, Danny Worrell, Queens, New York, and Daniel Belgrave (Florence), Belgrave, Florida. Aunts, Mattie Gilliard, Eutawville, South Carolina, Margrett (Richard) Parker, Greenville, North Carolina, niece, Marshea M. E. Middleton, Bremerton, WA., nephews, LCP Trevon M. Hill, US Marines, Nathaniel E. Middleton-Suber, Sanford, North Carolina, Kelvis V. Tann, Jr., Sanford, North Carolina, special friend, Veronica Davis, Cross, South Carolina, and a host of cousins and friends.
