Vera Johnson Sprinkle Life Reflections
Vera Johnson Sprinkle was born October 15, 1946 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She was granted eternal rest on Thursday, May 29, 2025 in Charleston, South Carolina at Roper Hospital.
Vera was the daughter of the late Ralph Johnson & Susie Mae Oliver Johnson Stokes. She was educated in the public schools of Holly Hills & graduated from Roberts High School.
Vera accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was a member of Red Hill Baptist Missionary Church in Santee, South Carolina until the time of her death.
She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Raymond Sprinkle on October 25, 1965, from this union two children were born. Raymond was enlisted in the United States Air Force which allowed her to travel to many different places.
She was employed at Ryan*s Steakhouse where she was supervisor of the salad bar for 15 years up until her retirement.
Vera loved to garden & grow her flowers with the green thumb she was so lucky to have. She would always want to share her plants & knowledge about them with others. If you were perhaps lucky to get a plant from her she would even ask later, how is that plant doing, is it living? She also enjoyed cooking & spending time on the lake fishing with Raymond.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Michael Sprinkle.
