Teon Quinton Holman

Teon  Quinton Holman was born on December 20, 1982, in Orangeburg County to the parents of Eunice Jeanette Holman, who preceded him in death, and Antonio Miller. He departed this life on May 25, 2022.Teon was christened as a baby in Greater Target AME Church, Holly Hill, SC., and later as a youth, he joined. He also attended Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Eutawville, SC.

Teon received his education in the Holly Hill public school system. He graduated from Holly Hill-Roberts High School in Holly Hill, SC, in 2001 and later attended Orangeburg Technical College where he received an associate degree in Welding. Teon held many jobs throughout his life, including a cook, welder, forklift driver, electrician, and most recently mechanic. He was employed by Honest 1st Auto Service.

Teon was reared by his uncle Louis(deceased) and Aunt Ray Ann Gillen's household in Eutawville, SC. He was reared as brothers with Fredrick (deceased) wife Kesha of Columbia, SC., and Brandon Holman of VA Beach, VA.

Teon leaves to cherish his memories to his son Tevion Quentin Holman of St. George, SC, a daughter Tabitha Eunice Holman of Holly Hill, SC, a fiance Sarah Gilliard of Holly Hill, SC, and a stepdaughter Savannah Gilliard. Teon was a great father and fiance. You couldn't tell Tevion his father didn't walk on water. Two uncles, Otis Holman, Jr., of Santee, SC, and Larry O. (Patricia Ann) Holman of Sumter, SC, and aunt, Jessie C Holman of VA Beach, VA (his third mom). Two great aunts, Ms. Roxanne Bailey and Ms. Maggie H. Fulton, both of Holly Hill, SC. Special cousins Sharhonda (Elder Jerry) Elmore-Rivers of Florence, SC. Ms. Kenteshee (James) Gillard, Delicia (Nicholas) Ealey, and Hope (Dior) Ashford, all of Columba, SC.

To Teon's adoptive Gillens family, thank you so, so much for how you opened your hearts and embraced Teon as one of your very own. 

A very special thank you to his special uncle James Gillens who was always teaching him his trade of electrical and spending quality time with him. You couldn't tell Teon he wasn't a Gillens, he just had a different last name.

Teon has many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of close friends that were like sisters and brothers.
