Mrs. Shedricka Taccar Jamison Anderson

Shedricka was born on March 2, 1988, to Mr. Richard Henry Jamison and Mary Dingle Jamison. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, was baptized and joined Galilee Christian Church in Holly Hill, SC.

She attended Holly Hill public schools and graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High School/Lake Marion Technology Center in Santee, SC in 2006. Upon graduation, she attended Clemson University and in 2010, she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Shedricka then decided to continue her education at South Carolina State University, where in 2015, she earned her Master of Education Degree in Counselor Education.

Shedricka had a passion not only for helping others but teaching them new and insightful ways to approach their circumstances so that they could have a better life. She did this in part by advocating for their needs and just being present to provide a supportive ear and shoulder to lean on. She was able to build upon this passion as she worked with the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) in Berkeley and Richland counties. Her work with DSS and her desire to help others was the driving force behind her decision to begin her studies at Charleston School of Law. As a law student, she served as a volunteer Ackerman Fellow at Charleston Pro Bono Services and a Juvenile Arbitrator at the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. She later worked as an extern for Honorable Richard M. Gergel at the United States District Court of South Carolina. She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Charleston School of Law in 2018. In 2019, she passed the South Carolina Bar Exam and was inducted into the South Carolina Bar Association where she served as a representative for the 9th Circuit in the House of Delegates. She was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law fraternity.

After graduating from law school, she moved to Greenville, SC where she clerked for the Honorable Alex Kinlaw Jr. In the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit from August 2018 to March 2019. She returned to the Lowcountry in August 2019 where she became an Assistant Solicitor in the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. In January 2022 she started a new venture in partnering with 2 of her law school classmates, they established Daniels, Anderson & Lumpkin Law Firm. She then decided to rebrand and to embark on a new journey, her own law firm, Jamison Law Firm. LLC, named in honor of her late father. While managing her own law firm she was also an appointed attorney for the Williamsburg County Public Defender’s Office. These positions allowed Shedricka to travel throughout the State of South Carolina exhibiting excellent representation and advocating to and for the citizens of this state. Later she returned to the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office where she served as Assistant Solicitor in the Berkeley County Office.

Shedricka’s vivacious personality and hard-working nature afforded her many opportunities and experiences. One such opportunity and accomplishment she was very proud of was her induction and membership into the Lamba Theta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, while at Clemson University in 2009.  She continued her service to all mankind by joining the Nu Alpha Omega Chapter of Moncks Corner, SC where she served as Parliamentarian and on numerous committees including the Bylaws Committee where she was the Chairman.
