On this day, Saturday, June 6, 2020, we celebrate the life of Shaquan Asmol Baquan Williams, affectionately known as “Black.” Shaquan was born July 11, 1998, to loving parents Henry Williams, II and Michelle Taylor-Randolph in Orangeburg, SC. He departed this life on Sunday, May 24, 2020.Shaquan attended Orangeburg County Public Schools and was employed as a landscaper with Green Acres in Summerville, SC. Shaquan was also employed as an automobile dealer at AutoMax in Summerville, SC. He grew up in the biggest, littlest town of Holly Hill, SC, where he made many life-long friends and cultivated lasting relationships and memories. Whenever you saw him, he greeted you with a huge smile and was always full of humor to keep you laughing. Shaquan was reared in the home of his grandmother Ella Mae Duggins whom he had a special bond and close relationship with.Shaquan was preceded in death by one sibling: Ricky Antoine Taylor; maternal grandfather, Leon “Buck” Taylor, and paternal grandparents, Henry Williams, Sr. and Rosa Williams.Shaquan leaves to cherish his loving mother, Michelle (Arnold) Taylor-Randolph of the home; his father, Henry Williams, Jr. of Miami, FL; one brother, Henry Williams, of the home; one sister, Diaka Williams-Daniels of Vero Beach, FL; his devoted grandmother, Ella Mae Duggins of Holly Hill, SC; one uncle, Darrell Felix (Valarie) Taylor of Holly Hill, SC; one aunt, Alice Williams of Miami, FL; three special cousins, Alicia Williams and Charlie Williams both of Miami, FL and Maquel Evans of Holly Hill, SC; two nieces, RaZyhia Taylor and Audrey Taylor both of Holly Hill, SC; one nephew, Anton Taylor of Holly Hill, SC; two great-granduncles, Jacob Williams, Jr. and Jessie Lee Macon both of Holly Hill, SC; fivegreat-grandaunts, Nettie McCloud of NY, Christine Taylorof NY, Lizzie Mae Taylor of Columbia, SC, Mary Lee Mack of Holly Hill, SC, and Patricia (Benjamin) Gilliard of Cross, SC; the love of his life, his fiancée, Jasmine Lumpkins of Holly Hill, SC; special friends, TraQuan Taste, ZaQuan Taste, Kawuan Middleton, Treyvion High, and Deon Gaines, and a host of cousins, family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
