It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Rosa Jenkins Bradley, 95, of Columbia, South Carolina formerly of Vance, South Carolina, who transitioned on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the home of Ms. Evelyn J. Martin. Ms. Evelyn J. Martin will be receiving visitors at her home. Please adhere to all COVID-19 Precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home. Masks are required.

Rosa Mae Jenkins Bradley Life Reflections

Mrs. Rosa Mae (Jenkins) Bradley, the daughter of the late Fred Adam and Elizabeth Nelson Jenkins was born August 20, 1927 in Orangeburg County in the town of Eutawville, South Carolina. She was first reared by Fred Adam and her mother until she passed away then she was reared by Fred Adam and Mrs. Bertha Lee (Wilson) Jenkins. She was also reared by Fred Adam and Lurlee Fogle Jenkins. 

She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the home of her special loving cousin Evelyn J. Martin in Columbia, South Carolina after a brief extended illness. 

Mrs. Bradley attended the public schools of Vance, South Carolina also known as Bull School. 

At an early age she joined Live Oak A.M.E. Church in Vance, South Carolina. Later she joined Miracle Faith Temple United Church Of God under the leadership of Pastor Elois Kelly and for many years she traveled along with Pastor Elois Kelly.

She is preceeded in death by her husband, Mr. Jake Bradley.

She leaves to mourn her passing: three sisters, Mrs. Louvenia P.Z. Benjamin of Boston, MA, Mrs. Catherine Wilson of Indiana, and Mrs. Victoria St. Paul of Miami, FL; a special loving cousin, Evelyn J. Martin of Columbia, SC; one godson, Glen N. Jenkins of Columbia SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
