Reverend Hoover Larry Footman
Life Reflections
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. \Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord,
the righteous Judge will award to me that day.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
Reverend Hoover Larry Footman, son of the late Charles and the late Arabell Footman, was born on September 21, 1957, in Cross, South Carolina. On August 5, 2022, in Charlotte, NC, Rev. Hoover L. Footman looked towards heaven and said “I won’t complain” as he gained his 2 wings to fly away.

He also graduated from Limestone College with a degree in Business Administration. He furthered his education for the ministry at Nichols Theological Seminary in Charleston, SC. A beautiful voice that will be missed singing some of his favorite songs “His Eye is on the Sparrow”, “Shackled by a Heavy Burden”, “Fix It Jesus”, “Hide Behind the Mountain”, “Change is Going to Come”, “We Have Come This Far by Faith”, “Somewhere to Lay My Head”, “When Peace Like a River”, “Walk Around Heaven”, “My Hope is Built” “Goodbye World”, “When the Gates Swing Open”
