Mrs. Ossie Peters, 80, of Holly Hill, South Carolina, transitioned on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Summerville Community Hospice House. The family is receiving visitors at 734 Surfside Drive, Holly Hill, South Carolina, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM daily. Please adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home. Masks are required.
Ossie Ray Peters Life Reflections
Ms. Ossie Ray Peters was born in Orangeburg County on February 15, 1943, to the late Reedy and Georgia Ann Wilson and was called home on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
She attended the public school system in Holly Hill, SC. At an early age, she joined Lovely Hill Baptist Church where she was a member until joining Miracle Faith Temple in 1987, she was a member until her passing. Under the leadership of Pastor Elois Kelly and Pastor Louise Connors, she was a church officer as well as a member of other church organizations. She worked at Skyline Limited in Holly Hill for over 20 years and after retiring, she performed several years of home care service to members of her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reedy and Georgia Ann Wilson; her sisters, Helen Davis, Roszena Wilson, Carolyn Washington, Idell Reed, Joann White, and Jessie Lee Nelson; and two brothers, Reedy, Jr. and Joe Wilson.
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Wilson of Holly Hill, SC; four children, Michael Wilson and Loretta (Joseph) Jacques both of Holly Hill, SC, Darrell Anderson of Columbia, SC, and Gregory Anderson of Woodbridge, VA; nine grandchildren, Andrea (Andre) Barbary, Dontra (Shedricka) Anderson, Gabrielle Anderson, Gregory Rashad Anderson, Blake Anderson, Michael Davis, Terrence Wilson, and Brad Wilson; 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

for the loving and caring support provided as Home Care Nurse.
