It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Nathaniel White, 83, of Randallstown, Maryland, who transitioned on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. THE LIFE & LEGACY OF NATHANIEL WHITE

Nathaniel White, was born on October 28, 1942, in Vance, South Carolina. He was the third of seven children born to the late Nathaniel and Corrine Asbury-White.

On June 17, 2026, Nathaniel peacefully entered into eternal rest at his home, surrounded by the love and presence of his cherished family. The world has lost a remarkable man whose life touched countless hearts. To know Nathaniel was to experience kindness, wisdom, humility, and unwavering love. He leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured by years alone, but by the many lives he impacted through his gentle spirit, generous heart, and steadfast faith in God.

Nathaniel was educated in the Orangeburg County School System and attended Roberts High School in Vance, South Carolina. At a young age, Nathaniel moved to New York, where he began building a life rooted in hard work, faith, and family.

On July 20, 1962, he married the love of his life, Carrie Fuller-White, in the Bronx, New York. Their marriage was a beautiful testimony of love, commitment, friendship, and devotion. Together they shared nearly 64 blessed years, building a home founded on faith, family, and unconditional love.

Nathaniel was employed by Aramark for 33 years as a Food Service Director before retiring. Cooking was more than a profession to him—it was his passion. He loved preparing meals for family and friends! Fridays were especially memorable because they were his “treat days.” At times, he would come home and play his albums, make his famous banana fritters and franks in a blanket, and he often came through the door carrying Linden's butter crunch and chocolate chip cookies that everyone waited for.

Nathaniel’s greatest joy was his family. He was a proud grandfather to nineteen grandchildren and a treasured great-grandfather to sixteen great-grandchildren. His face would light up at family gatherings, and his greatest happiness came from seeing those he loved together. He offered encouragement when needed, wisdom when sought, and unconditional love at every opportunity.

Nathaniel’s story is one of sacrifice and perseverance. As a young boy, he faced challenges that would have broken many, yet he chose responsibility over self-interest and service over recognition. He was a provider, a protector, and a man whose actions often spoke louder than words. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to care for those entrusted to him, never seeking praise or applause. His family always knew they could depend on him.

He was a man of quiet strength and genuine compassion. His love for God guided his steps, and his life reflected the values and teachings he held close to his heart. He believed in treating people with kindness, working hard, and loving his family wholeheartedly.

A man of deep faith, Nathaniel faithfully served the Lord throughout his life. He was a devoted member of Living Upon the Rock Church in San Antonio, Texas, where he was affectionately known as “Papa White.” His wisdom, warm spirit, and servant’s heart touched countless lives within his church family and beyond.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by his beloved son, Darrin White; his parents, Nathaniel and Corrine Asbury-White; and his siblings, Abraham White, Leola Brailsford, and Edward White. Cherishing his memory are his devoted wife, Carrie White of Randallstown, Maryland; his children, Pastor Curtis (CaLisha) White of San Antonio, TX, Vanessa (Joseph) Gooby of York, PA, Keesha (Bryan) Brickhouse of York, PA, and Sheila White of Randallstown, MD; and his special daughter, Medjine (Michael) Parker of Coram, NY.

He also leaves behind nineteen beloved grandchildren: Keshaun, Brandon, Makayla, Samiyah, Tianna, Alyssa, Dejah, Shaquea, Naquan, Raymel, Dahmel (Tatum), Janay, Shanay, Jasmine, Curtis Jr., Jada, DeVante, Michael, and Miasya.

His legacy continues through sixteen cherished great-grandchildren: Giana, Dahmel Jr., Kendall, Ava, King, Michael, Nevaeh, Nasir, Kvontay, Artavious, Aniya, Kaleb, Ontjuan, Aniyah, Xzen and Zyaire.

He is also survived by his three loving sisters, Agnes Snell, Jeanette Young, and Alma Mazyck; three sisters in law, Dorothy Vaughan, Catherine Felder and Irma White; four brothers in law, Henry Fuller, Joseph Fuller, Wallace (Rhonda) Fuller, Michael (Patricia) Fuller and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Nathaniel's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love a gift that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
