It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Moses Alonzo Mack, 60, of Vance, South Carolina, on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at his residence. Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home.
Moses Mack Life Reflections
Moses "Maxi Moses" or "Rambo", as he was affectionately called, graced this world with his presence on June 17, 1964, in Orangeburg SC. He was the seventh child of seven children born to the late Charles and Julia "Fruit" Mack.
He attended the public schools of Eutawville and Holly Hill. At the completion of high school, he moved to Mount Vernon, New York. He began working with Geather's Carpeting. After returning to South Carolina, he became the "HANDYMAN" for the community.
Moses always wanted to return to Vance, South Carolina. Here is where he departed this world early Saturday morning, July 20, 2024. He was surrounded by his sister, nieces, and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents, grandparents, a brother, James Mack; sisters, Carolyn and Angle Mack, and a brother-in-law, Alton Long.
Those left to cherish his memories are: his sisters; Barbara Montgomery, Flossie Jamison, Ermeaner Lewis, Linda Long, Patsy (Bobby) Jefferson, and Marlene (Ronald) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Morton, Louvenia (Xavier) Johnson, Steven Mack, Antione (Roxiana) Mack, Maurice Mack, Shaquille Mack, Tre Montgomery, Keenan Lewis, Latrice (Kenneth) Fuller, Marquise Long, Davon Long, James Jamison, and Isaiah Jamison; aunts and uncles, Catherine Mack, Henry (Ernestine) Mack, Louise (David) Palmer, Florence Mack, Barbara Mack, and George Walters; a foster brother, Larry (Elaine) Fuller; a very special friend, Annie Bookhart; best friend, Earnest Asbury; other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
