It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Michelle Sarah Ann Johnson, 55, of Eutawville, South Carolina, who transitioned on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina. The family will begin to receive family and friends at the residence of her sister, Diane Williams (1725 Bonner Avenue, Santee, SC 29142) beginning on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home.
Michalle Sarah Ann Johnson Life Reflections
Michelle Sarah Ann Johnson, daughter of the late Jerald Johnson and Susan Billie Johnson was born on May 3, 1970, in Baltimore, Maryland. She entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 7, 2025.
Shelly as she was affectionately known, moved from Baltimore, Maryland at an early age, to Eutawville, South Carolina. She attended the public schools in Orangeburg County, graduating high school in 1988, then enlisting in the United States Air Force in October of 1988. Once she decided to leave the military, she continued her education earning her degree and eventually returning to serve her country in the United States Air Force National Guard.
Her journey on earth was full of love, compassion, and her unwavering strength. She never met a stranger and would talk to every and anyone she met. Shelly loved to bake and share her goods with friends and family.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children: Gerald Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia, Lauren Robinson duty station in Japan, and Devin Boynes of Eutawville, South Carolina; four brothers: Carl Johnson and Albert Jerald Johnson both of Burlington, Vermont, Randy (Michelle) Johnson of New York, and Jerome Johnson Sr. of West Virginia; two sisters: Susan Diane (Lonnie) Williams and Geraldine (Tony) Wilder; nephews: Kelvin, Randy Jr., Maurice, Quentin, Carl Jr., Jerome Jr., and Tony Jr.; nieces: Patryce, Stephanie, Joyce, and Iris; grandnieces as well as other relatives and friends.
