It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Margaret Elizabeth Ellis, 63, of Eutawville, South Carolina, who transitioned at her residence in Eutawville, South Carolina.
Margaret Elizabeth Ellis was born on November 9, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland to Ms. Margaret Ellis and Mr. Beverly Bolden. She was the granddaughter of the late Mr.& Mrs. Layford (Boyd) and Henrietta Ellis.
Margaret was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church and attended until her health began to fail. Margaret attended schools in Baltimore, Maryland, Far Rockaway, NewYork, and the public, schools of Orangeburg County in South Carolina.
Margaret graduated from South Carolina State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught for many years in Denmark, South Carolina, and Orangeburg County School District. She enjoyed serving in the educational system.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Mrs. Margaret Roseboro of Far Rockaway, New York, her brother, Mr. William Lee Roseboro, Jr., of Columbia, South Carolina; Aunts: Mrs, Mamie L. Ellis and Mrs.Tinnie West, both of Eutawville, South Carolina, and Mrs. Dorothy Myers of Baltimore, Maryland. Best friends: Mrs. Wyla Spann, Mrs. Annie Stokes, Mrs. JoAnn Anderson, Ms. Priscilla Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home. Masks are required.
