Lucious Elmore

Mr. Lucious Elmore the son of Mr. David Elmore and Mrs. Mary (White) Elmore, was born on July 26, 1940 in Holly Hill, SC. He departed this life on April 18, 2018 at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt, NY.

Lucious Elmore grew up in Holly Hill and was educated in the Orangeburg County school system. He worked in Westchester County New York until he retired.

Lucious Elmore leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Cynthia D. (James) Gethers of Cross, SC; his son, Ricky D. Simmons of Columbia, SC; one sister, Minister Lelia Green of Atlanta, GA; and one brother, Roosevelt Elmore of Holly Hill, SC; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
