Lizzie Lee White

Lizzie Lee White, the daughter of the late Edgar, Sr and Eva Snell, was born February 16, 1933 in Vance, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

At an early age, she joined Springfield Missionary Baptist Church where she was a longtime member of the Christian Aid Society and continued to practice her Christian faith throughout her life.

She met and married, John Henry White Sr, who preceded her into eternal rest. This union was blessed with seven children. They made their home in Eutawville, South Carolina where she expressed her love for her family, friends, and “flowers” every day of her life.

She leaves to honor her loving spirit her children: Darlene Nunnally (Larry, deceased) of Vance, South Carolina; Charles (Cynthia) White of Eutawville, South Carolina; Minnie (Sam) Wright of Vance, South Carolina, Mildred (Bavian) Scott of Eutawville, South Carolina; John (Minnie) White, Jr. of Vance, South Carolina; Jeffery (Casandra) White of Columbia, South Carolina; and Evelyn (Clyde)Turner of Columbia, South Carolina; seventeen grandchildren and their spouses; twenty-one great grandchildren; her sister, Eva (Frank) White of Oxon Hill, Maryland; as well as seven brothers and sisters-in-law including her dear brother-in-law and friend, Willam James, Sr.. She is also remembered by her special nephew, LeRoy Snell and a special niece, Pamela Gardner; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends including her special caregivers, Margaret Jamison, Diane Mack, Rebecca Davis, and Mattie Lee.
