Linda Diane Johnson Life Reflections
Ms. Linda Diane Johnson was born August 27, 1958, to the late Earnest Johnson and Bertha Lee Smalls Johnson in New York City. Diane passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Montefiore Hospital, after a brief illness.
Diane graduated from George Washington High School, in New York City. Diane was employed with the Office of Special Narcotics Police Agency. After thirty-five years of dedicated service, she retired. She attended Cannan Baptist Church in Manhattan, New York for many years with family.
Diane leaves to cherish her loving memories: her daughter, Deandra Johnson Haan (Joel) of Michigan; one sister, Elizbeth Dessessaure of California; two brothers, Donald Johnson of New York City and Gregory Johnson of Cross, SC; a dear niece and nephew, Chrystal Johnson and Donald Johnson Jr.; three aunts: Lillie Mae Smalls, Betty Johnson, and Beatrice McCray; three uncles, Edward (Pauline) Johnson, Elijah Johnson, and Arthur Johnson; loving cousins, Mabel Williams, Albert (Lillie) Smalls, John (Anna) Smalls, Leroy (Mozell) Brown, Paul (Anita) Brown, Lula M. Smalls, Moses (Shirley) Brown, James (Albertha) Sanders, James Moody, and Wayne (Nicolette) Smalls and a host of other relatives and friends.
