Mr. Jacob Abraham Frost, 86, of Holly Hill, SC was born on December 25, 1934, in Harleyville, S.C. to the late Mr. Joe “Pooly” Frost and Mrs. Sadie Louise Brown Frost.
As the Sun set, God told Jacob your journey is over, you are now with your wife, go and be in peace. Jacob you lived a faithful life. Helen Ruth Frost is in your presence, and you can now dwell in a place where only you, your wife, the Angels, and God dwell - a place called Heaven! Your children love you so much, miss you, and they find peace in knowing you are now with their mom.
Mr. Jacob Abraham Frost retired from Giant Cement Company, Holly Hill, SC on January 1, 2000, as a Mill Utility Operator. He committed his life to Christ at an early age and became a life-long member of Rock Hill AME Church, Vance S.C., where he served as a member of the Senior Gospel Choir.
On March 10, 1959, Jacob married Helen Ruth Frost and they shared 60 years of matrimony together until her death. Seven children were born to this union. Preceded him in death was his wife Mrs. Helen Ruth Frost, one granddaughter, Miss Brittany Bowman, two brothers, Mr. Harry Frost and Mr. John Prioleau, and his parents Mr. Joe “Pooly” Frost, and Mrs. Sadie Louise Brown Frost. Jacob leaves to cherish his memories seven children: Lee Anna (Jonathan) Palmer of Eutawville, SC; Douglas (Barbara) Frost of Summerville, SC; Joan (Fiancé-Donald) Frost Graham of Fayetteville, NC; Patrick Frost of Suffolk, VA; Robin (Mike) Age of Orlando, FL; Timothy Frost of Orlando, FL; and Terry (Travis) Jordan of Jacksonville, FL. Surviving siblings include: one sister, Mrs. Lula Mae Thompson of Holly Hill, SC; four brothers: Mr. Nathaniel (Susie-Syracuse) Frost of Bronx, NY; Mr. Joseph Frost of Bronx, NY; Dr. John Wesley (Belinda) Frost of Pearland, TX; Mr. Isaiah (Gloria) Frost of Randallstown, MD; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Volta (Mark) Milline of Washington, D.C.; Ms. Diane Parker of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Carolyn (George) Wagner of Bowie, MD; two brothers-in-law: Mr. Bruce Asbury of Philadelphia, PA; Mr. Edward (Marie) Bellinger of Boston, MA; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
