Mr. Frank Jenkins,83, of Eutawville, South Carolina, transitioned on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina. Frank “Bubba” Jenkins, the beloved son of the late Richard and Bertha Jenkins was born November 24, 1938, in Eutawville, South Carolina.
Bubba attended school at Smitt Hill School in Eutawville, SC. He was known as a skillful laborer. He worked closely with his late brother Joseph “Mook” Jenkins as a skilled Brick Mason with Jenkins Masonry and Construction Company. Additionally, Bubba assisted his brother Melvin at Mel’s Garage as an auto mechanic, until his health no longer allowed. Most importantly to some, he was a “Master Chef.” He was booked by many in the surrounding areas, to grill and fry fish. Bubba loved his family and loved cooking for them, as well as attending social gatherings and family reunions. In fact, his favorite event was family BINGO; he absolutely enjoyed his winnings of household products. Bubba also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and telling jokes, he loved making people laugh.
In 1965, Bubba was joined in Holy Wedlock to the late Mattie Mae Mack Jenkins.
Preceded him in death are his parents, wife, a daughter Pearlie Avinger, grandson Brandon Jenkins, sister, Shanekwa Jenkins, and brother Joseph Jenkins.
Bubba leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories: His faithful children; daughters, Bridget Capers, Brenda (Jerome) Moore, Berlinda Rena Walley; His sons Kevin (Mary Ellen) Jenkins and Franklin Mark (Sabrina) Jenkins; His loving sisters; Sally Ann Middleton, Annie Ruth Fuller, Roberta (Larry) Ramsey and Thomasenia (Dea. Harry) Hicks; his brothers; Luther (Nancy) Jenkins, Melvin (Mary) Jenkins, Willie Lee (Racheal) Jenkins, Tony Jenkins, Bruce (Vivian) Jenkins, Sr., and Adrain Jenkins; Brother-in-law, Jim (Margiree) Mack and Sisters-in-law, Jane (Dea. Albert) Perry and Deloris Jenkins; Sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Outside and drive-through visitation only and a mask is required. Visitation will be held at his daughter Bridget's home located at 140 Teresa Court, Eutawville, SC 29048.
