Ms. Elizabeth Pinckney the daughter of the late Loyal Gillard and Roseanne Murray Gilliard, The wife of the late Mr. Earnest Pinckney Jr. and the mother of the late Ms. Brenda Pinckney, was born on July 02, 1928, in Cross, South Carolina. She departed this life on Monday, July 18, 2022, at her residence.
Elizabeth, better known to many as “boog” Ms. Boog was a very faithful member of Ebenezer Zion AME Church, where she served on many auxiliaries. Elizabeth was the Mother Of The Church, a Missionary, and Usher for many, many years, and she sang on the Senior Citizen Choir.
Elizabeth was a beacon of light for her family and the community. Some of you may not know this but she was also the bank for anyone in need. She had the sweetest Spirit and was kind-hearted.
Her light always shined very bright. Elizabeth was a very humble lady and she always had a smile on her face and greeted everyone with love. She loved to cook and bake her famous fruit cakes and family was very important to her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories of 10 children. Franklin (Edith) Gillard of Summerville South Carolina, Charles (Louvenia) Pinckney, Louise (Harry Lee ) Ravenel, Sheila (Willie) Fuller, all of Cross South Carolina, Earnestine (George) Fuller of Vance South Carolina, Calvin (Maryann) Pinckney, Marilyn (Jerry) Sweatman, of Cross South Carolina, Sarah (Wilbert) Walker of Summerville South Carolina, Troy Pinckney, Deborah (Esaias) Jackson of Cross South Carolina, And one Granddaughter rare in the Home Eartha Lee – Levana Pinckney and one special niece Jloundia Pinckney.
Thirty grands, two grands that preceded her in death, Seventy Two great grand, and 13 great, great grands. And a host of nieces and nephews checked on her diligently, whom she loves dearly.
