Delores Morton Life Reflections
Delores Morton was born to the late Louise Morton and the late George Brown. She was born November 23, 1953, and she entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at her residence.
She grew up and attended school in Eutawville, South Carolina. Lois as she was affectionately called by most of her family and friends decided to move from Eutawville, SC to Greensboro, NC to live with her aunt to make a better life for herself. She spent most of her young adult life in Greensboro working various jobs.
Later in life, Lois decided to move back to Eutawville to raise her two beautiful daughters. She was a very outspoken person who said what was on her mind, but before you left her presence you would be laughing. Lois spent most of her good days spending time with her siblings and cousin sitting on the porch and having a good time. She also loved watching her soap operas. Her heart and action showed the love she had for her family and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald Morton (Victoria) and Ricky Brown; and a special friend, Kathy L. Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Danielle Denise Morton (Ron) and Dyshena LaQuane Morton; grandchildren: Brandon Lamont Morton (Tequila), Charity Shanice Shenell Morton, and Ay’shia White; two great-grandchildren: Omare Morton and Omyah Morton; siblings: Elizabeth Morton Frazier, Mattie Morton Gavin (Michael), Byron Brown (Joyce), Carolina Brown, Georgetta Kennedy, Michael Brown (Patricia), Teresa Taste, and Willamae Gadson (Chris); a cousin/brother: Charles Morton; special friends: Ben Evans, Joyce James, Nehemiah Yeadon, and Rose Montgomery Goodwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
