Deacon John Middleton, Jr

Deacon John Middleton, Jr., 94, of Eutawville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence in Eutawville.

John is the son of the Late John Middleton Sr. and the Late Eliza Huger Middleton. He grew up in Eutawville and attended Walnut Grove School in Eutawville South Carolina.

John joined the Unity Baptist Church at an early age where he served faithful and later became a Deacon and was faithful until his illness. he was a member of the Jehovah Lodge#351.

February 01, 1956, he was joined in Holly Matrimony to the Late Mary T. Broughton, from this union three sons were born, Rufus Middleton, Herman Middleton both preceded him in death and Morris Middleton(Estelle) of the home.

John was employed as a custodian for the Berkeley County Court House in Moncks Corner South Carolina, for many years until retirement.  

John had  nine siblings whom preceded him in death, Annie President, Georgia M. Gailliard, Estelle Rivers, Ruth Deleston, Dorothy Oliver, Franklin Middleton, Rev Jimmy Prioleau, Deacon Paul Middleton and General Middleton. 

He leave to cherish his memory nine Grandchildren, seventeen Great Grands, and nine Great Great Grands, one Brother in-law, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.  

Uncle, we will miss you but your memories will forever be in our hearts, we love you . "REST IN PEACE."
