On Thursday, February 11, 2021, at his residence in Cross, Brutus “Gerald” Jones went home to be the the Lord.  "...The last trumpet will call, and the dead will be raised from their graves with a body that does not, cannot decay. All of us will be changed! We'll step out of our mortal clothes and slide into immortal bodies, replacing everything that is subject to death with eternal life." [1 Corin 15: 52-53 The Voice]

Those left to cherish his memories: His loving and devoted wife, Susie B. Jones; Children ~ Takieya J. Jones, Tyler J. Jones, and Torrell J. Jones; Siblings ~ Emmaline Margaret Taste, Daisy Wright, Joe Jones, Joyce Jones, Geraldine (Gary) Sailor, Alexis “China” Jones, and Yvonne Smalls; Aunts ~ Mrs. Lorine Mazyck, & Mrs. Ruth Wearing; In-laws ~ Tim (Richardine) Ferguson, Mattie Bennett, Tonny (Naomi) Bennett, Francis (Camisha) Bennett, Pearline (Tim) McNeill, Mary (Harry) Brown, Patricia (Rufus) Smalls, Minnie Bennett, Johnny (Pamela) Bryant & Ronald Speaks; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
