It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Annie Mae Stokes, 85, of Eutawville, South Carolina, who transitioned on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home. Masks are recommended, but not required.

Ms. Annie Mae Stokes was born on March 30, 1939, in Cameron, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Jessie James Stokes, Sr. and Marie Johnson Stokes. She entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at her residence.
She joined Felderville AME Church and began her personal walk with God. She was a member of the Senior Choir. She received her education at Orangeburg public schools. She was employed by St James Elementary School.
Annie Mae leaves to mourn her four sons, Jerry Stokes of Eutawville, SC, Lawrence Stokes of El Paso, TX, Harry (Robin) Stokes of Donalsonville, GA, and James Stokes of East Orange, NJ; bonus son Larry Stokes (Kathy)Of Eutawville, one daughter, Annie Hudson of Eutawville, SC. Also, she has one brother-in-law, John Davis of Eutawville, SC; fourteen grandchildren, Jerry Terell Stokes, Shamika Stokes, Erica Stokes, Eric Stokes, Andre Stokes, Antoine Stokes, Cadedra (Jamie) Ratliff, Jasmine Pedroza, Allen James Pedroza, Deanna Pedroza, Teakerea James, Antoine Buggs, Tyriq Williams, and Danielle Hudson; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
