It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Abrahim Hakeem (Abraham Green), 75, of Holly Hill, South Carolina, who transitioned on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at his residence. Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home. Masks are recommended, but not required.
Abrahim Hakeem Life Reflections
Mr. Abrahim (Abraham Green) Hakeem the son of the late Thomas Earthly and Ethel Lee Jenkins Green was born on October 17, 1949, in Eutawville, SC. Mr. Hakeem entered into eternal rest on Tuesday August 19, 2025, at 3:32 p.m. at his residence in Holly Hill, SC.
Mr. Hakeem grew up in Eutawville, SC. He graduated from Roberts High School in 1968. He joined the Marines Corps From 1969 - 1971. After completing the military, Mr. Hakeem then moved to Brooklyn, New York. He then married his high school sweetheart Beatrice Banks Green in 1976 and upon this union one child was born. Mr. Hakeem was predeceased by his parents, siblings, Elizabeth Green Sweeper, Andrew and Alfonso Green; niece, Chantae Gibbs Crosby; and a grandson, Jocquell Demitri Guest.
Mr. Hakeem leaves to cherish his calm spirit and reconnection that was needed one daughter, Tori Malika Greene; grandchildren, Khalid Ti’Yon Greene of Holly Hill, SC, Jakhyra Dimonae Greene of Brighton, MA, Khasia Te’Yona Greene, and his walking buddy, Jameer Denard Robinson of the home; his only great granddaughter, Jah’Toria Hymeeracle Greene of Brighton, MA; his sisters, Sadie Green Carter (Jonathan E. Carter) of Rock Hill, SC, Mary E. Gilbert (Randy Gilbert) of Columbia, SC, and Carol Gibbs of Orangeburg, SC; his brother, Mark Green of Eutawville, SC; a third brother-in-law, Douglas Sweeper of Goose Creek, SC. Also six nieces, six nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
