Rose Ella Stinson

Ms. Rose Ella Stinson was born on August 28, 1957 in Eutawville, SC. She is the daughter of Sam Washington and the late Geraldine Hamilton Davis.

On Saturday July 28, 2018 at The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg, SC she was called home to be with God. She grew up in the Eutawville area, where she graduated from Roberts High School with the class of 1975. She later received her nursing certification and was employed at Calhoun Convalescent Center in St Matthews, SC.

She was baptized and became a member of St. James Baptist Church of Eutawville, SC, where she served and joined the Mother's Ministry faithfully until her illness.

She is preceded in death by: her grandmothers, Rosabell Hamilton and Annie Washington; her mother, Geraldine Hamilton Davis; two brothers, Curtis Davis and Lewis Andrew Davis.

Ms. Rose Ella Stinson leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Sam Washington; her husband, Roy Stinson of Wabasso, FL; her son, Anterrius Roy Stinson of Eutawville, SC; her daughter, LaToya Tynisha Stinson of the home in Eutawville, SC; her grandchildren, Deonte Stinson and Shyonte Stinson both of West Palm Beach, FL; four sisters, Lynda H. Brown of Philadelphia, PA, Darlene Davis of Eutawville, SC, Carmaletta Blanchard, and Renay Davis both of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Willie (Joyce) Baker of Eutawville, SC, Ben Washington, and Sam Washington, Jr. both of New York; two aunts, Ruby Butler and Reatha Washington both of Eutawville, SC; two uncles, Robert (Estelle) Washington of Eutawville, SC and Henry (Mary) Washington of Freeport, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; special cousins, Shirley Hamilton, Deborah Murray, and Larry Hamilton; special friends, Laverne Bowman, Joyce Baker, and Hercules Stinson (in-law); and a special acknowledgement to the Roberts High School Class Of 1975.
