Ricky "Tank” Jackson, of Eutawville South Carolina departed his life on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his residence. Ricky was born in St. Matthews, SC on September 28, 1949 to the late Nathaniel “Ting” Jackson and the late Esther Jackson.

Ricky received his education from Roberts High School in Holly Hill South Carolina. Afterward he served in the United States Army but spent the majority of his career doing what he loved as a truck driver until his health started failing him.

Ricky lived his life to the fullest. He was a loveable and fun person. Everyone loved being around him. Although he was not a baptized witness he knew Jehovah God and attended the meetings regularly at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann "Dugar" Branch and brother, Nathaniel "Bo Jack" Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Lizzie Jackson of the home; three children, Reginald (Glenda) Jackson, Jennifer Jackson, and Amanda Jackson all of Eutawville, SC; five grandchildren, Jada Jackson, Lavonte Jackson, Maliek Fuller, Malachi Jackson, and Cameron Fuller; four brothers, Walter (Jackie) Jackson of Swansea, SC, Henry C. (Barbara) Jackson of New York, NY, Irvin (Annette) Green of St. Matthews, SC, and David (Allene) Jackson of St. Matthews, SC; two sisters, Estelle (Robert) Sims-Tillery of Bronx, NY and Marilyn (Bill) Galbreath of Uniondale, NY; two uncles, John C. Gaillard of Eutawville, SC and Thaddeus Gaillard of New York, NY; one aunt, Clarene Trotman of New York, NY; two brothers-in-law, Elijah (Mary) Mitchum of Vance, SC and Joseph (Terry) Mitchum of Oklahoma; four sisters-in-law, Shirley (Jake) Washington of Eutawville, SC, Robersene Charlotte Young of Eutawville, SC, Veronica Johnson of Staten Island, NY, and Diane Mitchum of Santee, SC. He has many special nieces and nephews who loves him dearly, along with a host of other close family members and friends.
