Lillie Mae Gaillard, 63, of 231 Johnson Dr., Santee, departed this life on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg. The final resting place will be private.

Lillie Mae Gaillard departed this life on August 1, 2018 at the Orangeburg Regional Hospital. Lillie was born on May 24, 1955 in Cross, South Carolina to the late John and Hannah Glover. Lillie was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Charles Glover.

In February 1974, Lillie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Later she married Stanley S. Gaillard on May 29, 1976. They were married 42 years.

Lillie was an employee of Orangeburg District 4. She was well known and loved by many. Lillie will be dearly missed.

Lillie is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Stanley S. Gaillard; three brothers, Harry (Mary) Glover of Cross, SC, John Glover of Cross, SC, and Andrew Glover of Ridgeville, SC; three sisters, Mamie (Lester) Butler of Savannah, GA, Queen White of Charleston, SC, and Hester (Heyward) Williams of Summerville, SC; three aunts and one uncle, Mary Lee Davis Smith, Samuel (Polly) Green, Eula (Sam) Washington, and Annie (Marion) Richards; nine in-laws, Charles (Bertha) Gaillard, Bertha (Ernest) Shaw, Mary Taylor, Lee (Martha) Gaillard, Sarah (Tracy) Hill, Donnette (Edward) Clemons, Chappelle Gaillard, Michael Gaillard, and Sherry (Lester) Mack; a special nephew she loved as her own, Darrell Spann, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
