Jessie Mae Snell

Mrs. Jessie Mae Davis-Snell was the daughter of the late Mr. Herbert Davis Sr. and Mrs. Annie Mae Davis of Holly Hill, S.C. She was born on September 2, 1940 in Holly Hill, S.C. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 29, 2018.

Mrs. Snell was a very loving, caring wife to the late Leon Snell. She was a devoted mother. She grew up and attended school in Holly Hill, S.C. At an early age she became a member at Rock Hill A.M.E Church in Vance, S.C.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: daughters, Joyce Young of Columbia, S.C, Gloria (Clifford) Bell of Holly Hill, S.C, and Floria (Blas) Ramos-Garcia of Columbia, SC; one son, Leon (Charlene) Snell of Columbia, SC; three sisters; Mrs. Ida Mae Street of Reeseville, SC, Sebie Davis of Miami, FL, and Maggie (Sam) Pinckney of Cross, SC; an adopted sister, Mrs. Volta (Mark) Asbury-Milline; one brother, Jervy (Rose) Davis of Columbia, SC; six grandchildren, Keishia Taylor of Columbia, SC, Jessica Bell of Holly Hill, SC, Malcolm Snell of Columbia, SC, Clifford Bell, Jr. of Holly Hill, SC, Ciera Snell of Columbia, SC, and Tyler Bell of Holly Hill, SC; two great grandchildren, Avian Bailey and Samari Griffin of Columbia, SC; six sisters-in-laws, Gloria Snell of Providence, RI, Lula Snell of Vance, SC, Blondell Brown of Vance, SC, Geraldine Grant of Vance, SC, Barbara (Samuel) Mack of Holly Hill, SC, and Rena Mae Allen of Vance, SC; three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Snell of Holly Hill, SC, Earl (Patricia) Snell of Orangeburg, SC, and Bruce Snell of Columbia, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
