Frank Goodwin, Jr.

Mr. Frank Goodwin, Jr. of 618 Eutaw Hwy. Eutawville, SC was born on April 14, 1943 to the late Deacon Frank, Sr. and Elouise M. Goodwin. He entered intoeternal rest on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.

At an early age, he joined Springhill Baptist Church. He graduated from Roberts High School in the class of 1962. After graduating, he moved to New York, where he worked numerous jobs, retiring from Coral Color Process Co. in 2006. While in NY, he joined House of Prayer COGIC, where he served as a Deacon, trustee, and male chorus member. After retiring, he relocated to SC, and renewed his membership at Springhill, where he served as a trustee and male chorus member.

On June 5, 1963, he was United in holy matrimony to Pearl Snell. This union was blessed with two sons, Patrick B. and Frank D. Goodwin.

He leaves to cherish precious memories: his loving wife of 56 years, Pearl Snell Goodwin; sons, Patrick (Ruth Gadson) and Frank (Elaine S.) Goodwin; grandchildren, Dāvondra and Davontré Goodwin; great-grandchildren, Sa'Kyra and Elijah Wilson; adopted son and daughter, Deacon Harry and Deaconess Thomasina Hicks; sisters-in-law, Mary Washington, Jacqueline (Herman) Shaw, and Georgia (Simon) Gilmore; brothers-in-law, Daniel Jr., James (Malqueen), Tommy (Vincette), William, and Charles Snell; two aunt's, Evangelist Jacqueline Y. Small and Rebecca Morton; a special cousin/friend, Cyrus Morton; and other relatives, and friends.
