Edward Davis

Mr. Edward "Red Rosie" Davis was born on September 10, 1950 to the late Woodrow and Jessie Lee Gilmore-Davis. He departed this life peacefully on January 1, 2020 surrounded by his family at the home of his brother.

Edward was educated at Roberts High School in Holly Hill, SC. He became a member of Greater Target AME Church in Holly Hill at an early age.

Edward was employed with Georgia Pacific for over 30 years.

Edward was proceeded in death by his parents and two brothers, Woodrow Jr. and Herbert Lee Davis.

Edward leaves to cherish the memories of his life; one son, Tyron (Carol) Perry of Goose Creek, SC; four brothers, Stova Lee (Deloris) Davis and James (Everett) Davis of Holly Hill, SC, Jefferson (Tamara) Davis of Upper Marlboro, MD and Charlie (Carolyn) Davis of Jonesboro, GA; one sister, Veola (Adam Sr.) Williams of Holly Hill, SC; five grandchildren; Taylor Perry, Tyler Perry, Tyrek Perry, Kaijuana Cave and Tylasia Perry; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
