Curtis Brown, Sr. Obituary

Mr. Curtis Brown, the son of Joe Louis Brown, Sr. and Linda B. Goodwin was born on March 30, 1967 in Bronx, New York.

“Kash aka Cincere” as he was affectionately known, grew up in New York City and attended the public schools and later moved to South Carolina where he furthered his education. Curtis was a very passionate person, our gentle giant and for those that truly knew him, knows he had a heart of gold and loved and cared for many. He was the type of person that put his children and grandchildren above all else. To have known Curtis, you know that he had a love for dogs, big jewelry, addiction to video gaming, driving, his music entertainment brand (Kazmere Inc.) and most of all God. Like his brother Joe, he was a huge NY Giants fan.

At an young age, Curtis held several jobs such as a Minister, a truck driver with the handle (“Preacher Man”) for Westbury, S & S Trucking, D & R Trucking, and Simple Solutions. He was also his family’s personal out of state driver.

On December 24, 1988 Curtis was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Lettie Brown and to this union he was blessed with three children. Curtis’s love for his family went beyond just loving his own children, but he had much love for everyone else’s children as well. He was a true people’s person that was loved by all that met him.

Curtis is preceded in death by his soulmate, Lettie Brown; one sister, Sandra Brown; one brother, Joe Brown, Jr.; and one grandson, Isaiah Brown.
