Chriscile Hemingway Jackson was born April 4, 1941, the daughter of late Grady Hemingway and Ora Mae Hemingway of Loris, South Carolina. God decided to pick one of his Angels on earth to join his heavenly home and Chriscile departed her life on Friday morning, April 19, 2019.
She lived in Loris, SC where she attended Chestnut Consolidated High School.
Chriscile accepted Christ at an early age and joined Ebenezer Zion AME Church where she became a faithful servant for the Lord. She was a faithful member of the senior choir and the senior program. She was a highly active member in Sunday and Bible School.
Chriscile was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and most of all she had a loving heart for all.
Chriscile was preceded in death by a son, Roy Hemingway.
She leaves to cherish her memories: nine children, Lee Hemingway (Val), James Jackson (Carolyn), Don Jackson (Judy), Victor Jackson (Annie), Steven Jackson (Jacqueline), David Jackson, Dennis Jackson, Michael Jackson (Yvette), and Samantha Simon (Brent), all of South Carolina; three sisters and three brothers, Elnetha Gause, Lucile Skinner (Joe), Janet Gilbert (Freddie), Charles Hemingway, Wilson Hemingway, and Clarence Hemingway (Cozet) all of Loris, SC; 23 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren; a host of step-grandchildren, other loving relatives, and friends.
