Brandon Jenkins Obituary

Brandon Alexander Jenkins, the beloved son of Brenda Johnson and Alexander Dillard was born February 18, 1989 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Columbia, South Carolina.

Brandon attended the public schools of Orangeburg County Consolidated School District Three.  At an early age, he attended and was baptized at Refuge New Calvary Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Brandon was employed by Husqvarna, Orangeburg, SC and a family’s business, “J&J    Masonry”; working side by side with family members cutting jokes more than working. Brandon was a natural comedian, he kept everyone around him laughing.

Brandon had an enormous love for family as well as music. He always supported family events and never missed the Myrtle Beach Vacations.  Amazingly, Brandon could sit for hours and conduct conversations with adults of all ages, asking them questions because he admired elder wisdom. Brandon was high spirited, on a level you can’t even imagine.  He had a personality and smile that made you fell in love with him instantly.  Subsequently, if you ever met Brandon, you would never forget him.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mattie Mae Jenkins. and paternal grandfather, Harold Williams.

Brandon leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted parents, Brenda (Marvin     Jerome Moore) Johnson and Alexander Dillard; adopted father, Rev. Ronald (Jacqueline) Johnson; his children, Brandon Jenkins White, Bra’Geill Jenkins, Mariya Payne, Shirlona Warley and Brakhi Jenkins; sisters, Brianna Johnson and Ashli Dillard; brother, Brian Johnson; two nephews; Brailyn Johnson and Braidyn Shivers; maternal grandfather; Frank Jenkins; paternal grandmother, Belinda Williams; adopted grandparents, Evangelist Betty Palmer and Leroy (Gwen) Johnson; aunts and uncles:  Bridget Capers, Berlinda Rena Walley, Franklin Mark (Sabrina) Jenkins, Kevin (Mary Ellen) Jenkins and Harold J. (Sarah) Williams; godmother, Dr. Lawanda Felder; godfather, Kenneth Jenkins and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, other relatives  and friends.
