It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Lawrence Green, Jr., 68, of Eutawville, South Carolina, who passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at MUSC Health Orangeburg. Please adhere to all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines when visiting the family and funeral home. Masks are NOT Required but encouraged.

Lawrence Green Jr. was born to the late Lawrence Green Sr. and Annie Lee Green on March 2, 1956, and departed this life on March 5, 2024, at MUSC Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.

Lawrence received his education through the Orangeburg County School System. Lawrence loved his family and grandchildren. He worked hard for many years to provide for his loved ones. He was the proud owner of Green’s Electrical and Plumbing. He loved people and was willing to do work for free for those in need. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on November 3, 1973. He is remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Jessie Mae Sweatman and Cherry Washington, and one brother Leon Green.

Those left to cherish fond memories are: his loving wife, Mary Green of the home; two sons, Gregory (Lashawnda) Green of Bethlehem, GA and Corwin (Jennifer) Green of Blythewood, SC; four granddaughters, Mya Green, Ava Green, Bella Green, and Zoë Green; four brothers, John Greene, Jeremiah Green, Nathanial Robinson all of Eutawville, SC and Carnell Robinson of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Shirley Ann Johnson of Orangeburg, SC and Jessie Belle Capers of Holly Hill, SC; three aunts, Jessie Lee Jamison, Eula Washington, and Polly Green all of Eutawville, SC; one uncle, James Johnson of Eutawville, SC; special friends, Michael Johnson and Donell Martin; a host of additional nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, and friends.
